Day 1 Welcome to Athens
Today is arrival day so welcome to Athens. Late afternoon we walk to all the sights of Greco-Roman Athens. Stand in awe at the epic Temple of Zeus.See the first Olympic Stadium, the Agora and the mother of all ruins, the Acropolis. Overnight Athens C class.
Day 2 Athens to Mykonos
Early morning departure for the uninhibited island of Mykonos. Spend the afternoon at the beach or exploring Mykonos Town before experiencing some of the wildest nightlife on the islands. Overnight Mykonos C class.
Day 3 Mykonos
Revitalize with an early morning swim and wander the charming white-washed narrow alleyways of Mykonos Town. Overnight Mykonos C class.
Day 4 Mykonos to Ios
The quintessential Greek Island, Ios, has acharming village, one of the best beaches in the Aegean and plenty of action all night. Overnight Ios C class.
Day 5 Ios
Sluggishly rise from your island induced sleep and head for the famed beaches on Ios. Explore the picturesque old chora or head for the beach. Tonight celebrate your last night on the party Island. Overnight Ios C class.
Day 6 Ios to Santorini
Today we take an hour’s ferry ride to the truly awesome volcanic island of Santorini. Overnight Santorini C class.
Day 7 Santorini optional boat trip
Take an optional boat trip in the world’s biggest volcanic crater above sea level. Visit the active volcano, swim in the warm thermal waters, take a therapeutic mud bath and ride a donkey. Tonight, get ready to celebrate your last night in the Greek Islands at the beach bar. Overnight Santorini C class.
Day 8 Santorini to Athens
Take an early morning hike to Ancient Thira or relax on the black-sand beach before an afternoon ferry to Athens. Overnight Athens C class.
Day 9 Athens old city
After breakfast, we say goodbye to those leaving and continue on to the stunning highlights of mainland Greece.
Tour includes
• Transportation by scheduled ferries between the Greek islands and a fully air-conditioned non-smoking bus in Turkey and to Meteora
• Bus transfers between ports and hotels (except Athens which is via Train)
